This page explains what we collect when you create a MyStudioLedger account or join our early-access list, why we collect it, where it is kept, and how you can have it changed or deleted.
What we collect
When you create an account: your name, email address and password, your studio's name, and optionally its city and team size. Passwords are stored by our authentication provider in hashed form; we never see them.
When you use your studio: the projects, clients, locations, fees, notes, planner entries, branding and files you add. This is your studio's content, and we store it only to provide the service to you.
If you joined the early-access list: your name, email, studio name and anything else you chose to fill in on that form.
We do not ask for payment details.
Why we use it
- to run your account and save your studio's work
- to email you about your account and important changes to the service
- to understand which kinds of practices use the product, so we can plan what to build
We never sell your details or your studio's content, and we do not use them for unrelated marketing.
Where it is stored
Accounts, studio content and uploaded files are stored with Supabase in its Mumbai (India) region. Each studio's content is private: database rules only let members of that studio read or change it. The website is hosted by Vercel.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and your studio's content for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it together with your studio's content and files. Early-access list entries are kept until early access ends or you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what details we hold about you
- correct or update them
- delete them
- stop emailing you (withdraw your consent)
These rights follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We will act on your request within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
The demo
The demo tracker at /app runs entirely in your own browser. Projects, notes and files you add there are saved only on your device. We do not receive them, and clearing your browser's site data removes them.

MyStudioLedger is in early access. We will update this policy as the product grows, and we will change the date at the top when we do.
